At 15, I turned my lifelong passion for Latin Ballroom dance into another stage — founding YIGLEAM, a pearl jewelry brand. Dance taught me that rhythm gives voice to the soul; pearls, too, give quiet beauty a voice. YIGLEAM is not just jewelry, but a calling.

The Pearl, Like Earth Seen from Space
To me, every pearl is like gazing at Earth from space: silent, luminous, and boundless. When the stars look down, all borders vanish, leaving only a fragile blue planet glowing in the dark. A pearl carries that same mystery — fragile yet full of life.

I once heard of a mother who gave her son a pearl necklace with a note:
“If one day I can no longer watch you grow, let this pearl stay with you.”
That story forever changed how I see pearls: they are not ornaments, but love made visible.

The mission of YIGLEAM is to create jewelry that carries meaning, beauty, and dignity. I dream of traveling the world, seeking out disabled artists whose creativity deserves a stage. Their hands, their imagination, and their resilience will give YIGLEAM new life.

One day, I envision a pearl pendant designed by a young artist who cannot walk, yet engraves their name along the edge of the clasp — a quiet reminder of their courage. Another design may carry subtle lines inspired by a blind artist’s touch, transforming texture into beauty. Each piece will not only adorn the body but also carry the soul of its maker.
